It is difficult to overstate how excited my team and I are to announce the forthcoming release of SuperLab version 5. From the beginning, we set out these two goals:

• Improving SuperLab to make it possible to build a much wider range of experiments, and,
• Simplifying SuperLab

Sounds simple, but it isn’t. The two goals often seemed contradictory: one said “let’s add more features and power” whereas the other screamed “wait a minute, make it simpler, not more complicated”.

In the end, I think that we succeeded in achieving both goals and we are very proud of the outcome. I will be posting a few articles over the next few months to describe and highlight certain features in version 5. A beta release is expected to become available in June.

Can’t wait!
