c-pod for Parallel Port delivers 13 bits of TTL output to a PC-compatible parallel port. Macintosh computers never offered a parallel port (also known as LPT port) and it is now gone from nearly all Windows-based computers.
Due to its past popularity, many EEG and other biometric recorders use a trigger port that is pin-compatible with a PC parallel port. Even though c-pod for Parallel Port can produce 13 bits of output, most recorders accept only 8 bits of input. Check your documentation or ask the manufacturer.
See this forum post for a description of the physical pin assignments.
