‍After years of hard work, we're thrilled to announce that SuperLab 7 is now entering public beta! It is available for everybody to download and use — no license required.

‍What's New in SuperLab 7

‍The biggest and most exciting new feature is the Trial Designer. This is a brand new, visual way to create your trials, a true what-you-see-is-what-you-get experience. See the earlier sneak peaks that we shared.

‍You'll also see a modern, completely refreshed user interface. 

‍Important Information About the Beta

‍SuperLab 7 is a massive undertaking. While we've added the Trial Designer and many new features, some SuperLab 6 features are not yet available. We will add these back over time.

‍Version 7 is conceptually different from previous versions and unable to read experiments created earlier. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need assistance recreating an experiment.

‍New in SuperLab X7

‍During the beta testing phase, you will be able to use these new features that are exclusive to the X7 edition.

• Record entire session
• Flip output horizontally or vertically (for fMRI)

‍And of course, SuperLab X7 continues to support LSL, Tobii eye trackers, and BIOPAC.

‍Get the Beta Build

‍You do not need a software license to try SuperLab 7 beta. It is available to everyone. This beta release expires on May 31. It will be followed by a third free beta release:

‍      Download SuperLab 7 beta 3 for Mac OS (version 15 “Sequoia” or later)

‍We've rewritten SuperLab 7 from the ground up. It not only adds requested features, but its modern architecture gives us the ability to propel SuperLab forward in a way that would have been impossible with version 6.
