The information in this document applies to first time users of an RB-420, RB-520, RB-620, and RB-820 model response pad using Mac OS X 10.3.9 and later.

Using your RB-x20 response pad does not require the installation of a device driver. However, if your computer does not have a built-in serial port, you will need a USB-serial port adapter, and that adapter will need to have its driver installed. Cedrus recommends this Saelig product.

Only the serial cable needs to be connected to your computer. The RB Series pads do not require a power supply.
