This support note is for users of SuperLab for Windows, version 6.5.1 or later. These versions can open experiments saved in SuperLab 6.1 or later only.

Why?

In version 6.5.1, the Windows version of SuperLab was modernized and converted from a 32-bit application to a 64-bit one. Unfortunately, one of the side effects was backward compatibility.

Workaround

The workaround is fairly easy:

• Download SuperLab version 6.5.0. 
• The installer will suggest a default folder name like
       C:\Program Files\SuperLab 6
  We suggest you use instead
       C:\Program Files\SuperLab 6.5.0

Once installed, open the experiment files and re-save them using version 6.5.0.
