This support note applies only to versions 4.x of SuperLab. Version 5 or later are digitally signed.

Gatekeeper

SuperLab 4 is compatible with Mountain Lion. However, it is not compatible with Gatekeeper, Apple’s new security software. When you try to open the program, you might get an alert similar to this one:

Workaround

If you do get this alert, Mac OS allows you to disable Gatekeeper. To proceed:

Click on the Apple menu and choose System Preferences. The System Preferences window appears.
Click on the Security & Privacy icon:

The Security and Privacy panel comes up. The settings in that panel are locked by default.

Click on the lock icon on the bottom left to unlock the settings. Mac OS will prompt you for your user name and password:

Once the settings are unlocked, click on the Anywhere radio button:

You can now run SuperLab. After you have ran SuperLab at least once, you can restore your original setting to have Gatekeeper continue to protect your Mac.
