Support   SuperLab    Command Line Interface

SuperLab provides a command line interface that can be used to automatically launch an experiment, specify the name of the output file, and so forth.

Available Command Lines

These commands, sometimes called “switches”, usually have a short form and a long form, e.g.  –r or  ––run. You can use either one.

Some commands require a value. If this value contains a space, you need to enclose the value in quotes. For example

      superlab --expfile=“C:\My Documents\experiment.sl6”

Specifies the experiment’s file name

–o  or  ––output file

Specifies the collected data’s file name

–n  or  ––name

Specifies the participant’s name

–g  or  ––group

Specifies the participant group that SuperLab should use when running the experiment

––nosplash

Suppresses the display of the splash screen SuperLab starts

No value required

–r  or  ––run

Runs the experiment after SuperLab opens it

No value required

–q  or  ––quit

Closes SuperLab when experiment has finished running

No value required
