What is Xidon?
Pronounced “Zydon”, it is a free utility software that allows you to do a number of things, including:
▶︎ Configure m-pod Signal Mapping
You can assign any input signal to any output line, or even multiple signals to an output line; see m-pod’s Configuring Pin Assignments for details.
▶︎ Update Firmware
For new functionality and bug fixes. For reasons beyond our control, only the Windows version can perform firmware updates.
▶︎ Set Light Sensor Threshold
This can be done using front panel dials in StimTracker. But for the RB-x40 response pads and Lumina 3G controller, you need Xidon.
▶︎ Verify Functionality
Using Xidon is a good way to verify that the USB driver is installed and the computer “sees” your hardware.
▶︎ Setup Signal Filters
XID 2 provides powerful signal filtering options that can be configured using Xidon and saved to flash. See Signal Flow page first for a description of the options.
