Cedrus offers a range of solutions for delivering event markers:
These products are readily compatible with all the leading psychophysiology brands in EEG, eye tracking, NIR, and others. This page offers guidance on which product to select.
There are five types of events that can be marked in psychology and psychophysiology experiments:
Onset of visual stimuli
Onset of auditory stimuli
Onset of participant key response
Onset of participant vocal response
Event codes sent via USB
The two key criteria to take into consideration when choosing an integration solution are:
StimTracker offers the most flexibility. You need StimTracker if you require more than one simultaneous output, you need to mark the onset of audio, or need support for more than a single light sensor.
StimTracker Duo offers dual m–pod outputs and support for 2 light sensors.
StimTracker Quad is an excellent value: for only $500 more, it offers four outputs (3 m–pod outputs + 1 TTL output), TTL input, microphone support for vocal responses, support for up to 4 light sensors, and optional Raspberry Pi support.

Prices for both models includes one m–pod. Additional m–pod units are $399 each when purchased together (that’s $100 off regular price).
c–pod accepts USB commands and delivers TTL output. It comes ready to plug into your recorder.
On-board firmware offers advanced features such as event marker scheduling and signal generation. See c–pod page for details.

Using m–pod with a response pad delivers three out of the five types of event markers: USB, onset of visual stimuli, and onset of participant key response. And you get a response pad in the process. The cost is under $1000 for both.
